newborns in their own homes are sometimes very hard to photograph. when i do a newborn session in someone's home it feels like i bring my entire prop closet with me. but for some reason, even though the hats and props and set up shots are cute, my very, very, very favorite shots tend to be the babies in their own homes on some portion of their parent's furniture. i love that the baby is a part of the whole. the family may not always live in this home over the years to come and if they do it may change in decor and color. but for now, at this moment, when this tiny life was added to this home--this is what that moment in time looked like. baby e.o.
