lily and me time. . .

i am jumping ahead of myself by posting these as i have not been able to work on the photo from the first few days in the hospital yet. but these just make me giggle. i had a few hours with my newborn niece, lillian harris, all to myself on her 5th day old! it was a privilege i was happy to have! she has a huge personality in the tiny little five pound body. we anxiously await her twin brother, henry, who should be released from the nicu tomorrow! i am one happy aunt!

 

 
 
 
 

sunburst and lilacs. . .

when i cut down some lilacs and placed them in a vase on my kitchen table, i saw the most beautiful sunburst come through them in the late afternoon. those are two of my favorite things: sunbursts and lilacs. what a wonderful marriage! and then to top it off the room smelled fabulous from the blooms.

the waite family easter 2010. . .

many of my friends know my sister, stephanie, from her blog. we had easter together at our parent's home and her children were dressed in the most darling clothing! here is the current waite family children as we naturally picture their angel little girl, camille, in this finely dress group. she would be about a year and a bit older than her brother.

 

this little piggy likes that little piggy. . .

a whole lot more than those other little piggies. . .
