complimentary colors and fairyland. . .

while on vacation in california a few things caught my eye as always happens when i'm there. the first was the disneyland castle at night with an overcast dark sky. it was beyond stunning and sold me on the idea that there could be a fairyland somewhere behind it.

the second was a very unusual flower and the compliment of the grass behind it. the Creator certainly didn't hold back on color in this world. 

and the third was the ranunculus. oh those dainty layers of paper-thin petals rich with color!
