Baby Kylee. . .

This baby shoot was an absolute joy. I loved being with these clients as they spent the morning relaxing with their new little girl at home. The love in the home was thick and Daddy is as taken with her as can be! Brit and Andy, you have a noticable love that radiates from you when you are with Kylee. Thank you for allowing me to feel it and see it through my camera.

what a fun thing to post on leap day!!! every four years this date comes around.

it is the perfect day to post some teen photos! i have so many goofy and ridiculous pictures from my own sadie hawkins dates all too many years ago that when madi asked me to do her sadie hawkins photos i hoped to get her some images she and her friends would love long term. these are some of my favorites from the fun we had just before they went out on the town for the night.

turning eight. . .

in january my niece turned eight. she is only about 9 months older than my boys! so when we went to do her baptism photo session i kept thinking about how soon it will be that my own children will be infront of my camera for the same reason. i love how her photos turned out. they are so perfect for the winter season in which she was born and is now getting baptized. she's a blizzard, this one and i was glad to have caught some of her soft and sweet side.

family night light play

for a family night activity we spent some time in the dark creating light faces. each part was done by different people all at once. the mouth is morgan. the eyes are jack and i. the crazy hair is rod. it makes for a fun family laugh together.

just a few more of the fun out at nelson with the egberts. these make me really happy! we even got to connect with a friendly tarantula who wanted in on the family photo session! we were all just glad he didn't jump for joy.

 

pre-thanksgiving day fun. . .

today was so much fun that i could do it again and again if this family would join me! i love this crew of eight. they have fun together and kid each other and were happy to tool around this property in nelson with me for hours! i came home and couldn't help myself to find a funny out-take to post. thank you e family for a fantastic pre-thanksgiving day fun! it was such fun to be with your whole family back together. it sort of felt like we went on a mini-vacation together and i'm digging the ride i got in the eg nest. have a great turkey day. i'm grateful for friends such as yourselves!
